Chaplaincy services

We have trained Chaplains to provide you support whenever you need it!

Our Chaplains are volunteers who have been certified by the NSW College of Pastoral Education and are approved to offer Chaplaincy Services in NSW hospitals and prisons.

They offer emotional and spiritual care and support for you and your relatives.  If you would like someone to sit with you or pray with you or conduct an Ardaas* - a supplication to Waheguru (God), you could contact us on 1800 11 66 75 or speak to your hospital or prison authorities.

Our regular visits are appreciated by about 30 sick and incarcerated individuals and their families every week.

* Our Chaplains DO NOT accept any donations for the Ardaas they perform with you. Please make all offerings directly to Guruji when you next visit the Gurdwara or through your own family members.

Our Chaplains make regular visits to Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals every week and there are plans to for the service to be extended to a hospital in Southern Sydney. They offer emotional and spiritual care and support during your stay at the hospital. This support may continue at your home if you  so wish.

Our Chaplains also visit NSW prisons to provide social, emotional and spiritual support to the incarcerated during the period of their confinement and also thereafter, till they are able to recover from their stress and integrate into society. We also provide assistance with job search, resume writing,  understanding interview techniques, etc. as part of our Job Search Assistance Program.

Rest assured

Our Chaplains provide Free, Confidential and Non-Judgemental Service.
